Davina has worked across visual art, fashion, jewellery and writing, each medium informing the other. Founder and designer at Lupa an iconic ethical fashion store and label for over 18 years she was steeped in beautiful functional design every day. A practicing visual artist studying at both RMIT and the VCA, manipulation of multiple materials underpinned by conceptual elements spill into her jewellery work, broadening the language and perspective of her craft.
From the poetic to the monstrous, verdant biological dramas and nature at it's most ridiculous, Davina is inspired by the colour and chaos of nature. Learning the trade from Raymond and working along side him in both life and work she is inspired by the deep symbolism and importance of each piece of jewellery and the endlessly transmutable properties of the materials.
