We’ve worked with clients who choose a single, beautifully made piece, whether that’s a gold diamond wedding band or a solitaire sapphire, to honour both moments. 

Some prefer to stack, some prefer simplicity. It’s a personal decision, and there are no rules, just craftsmanship, sentiment, and the story it carries. 

While it’s common to wear a wedding band and engagement ring together, it’s not a requirement. Many of our clients opt for one ring to do both. especially when the design is striking enough to stand on its own. Think of a signet ring with a single stone, or a bespoke design that blends the symbolism of both rings into one. 

Choosing just one piece can also allow for higher quality materials, such as a higher karat gold or a salt and pepper diamond, without compromising on budget. 

To us, the difference lies more in convention than in creativity. A wedding set typically includes an engagement ring and matching wedding band, often designed to interlock. A bridal set may include an additional band or coordinated jewellery, like earrings or a necklace, to wear on the day.
