    Golden thread to bind you. The Golden Thread carries a single chiselled line down a fine gold band, a piece designed to read as something tied rather than fixed.

    The 2mm gold band is finished by hand with a chiselled surface texture and a half-round profile, the hand polish keeping the surface alive without smoothing the chisel marks away. As a gold band for stacking or wearing as a wedding ring, the Golden Thread carries a sense of binding without ever weighing the finger down.

    Made by hand at our small studio in Melbourne using 100% recycled gold.

    Made to be worn forever, alone or alongside other Black Finch bands.

      We want your Black Finch piece to feel perfect from the moment it’s worn. Each ring includes a complimentary resize, which can be redeemed at a later date, giving you peace of mind if you're gifting or ordering online.

      If you are unsure of your ring size at the time of ordering, please select the option for a free ring sizer tool to be mailed to you. We will hold the production of your piece until size is confirmed.

      Most rings can be resized up or down by two sizes; for adjustments beyond this, our production team will assess the design and advise accordingly.

      Have a ring that fits the intended finger? Measure the internal diameter (mm), then refer to our size conversion chart below to find the match. Alternatively, wrap a thin string around the finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure the length.

      During busy promotional periods, this timeframe can extend to 8 to 10 weeks.
