A solid gold bangle with sapphires scattered like the warm dispersed light of an afternoon coming undone into evening.
Twelve stones are set into the carved surface of this sapphire bangle in a deliberate disorder. Four 1.7mm round white diamonds sit alongside a constellation of sapphires in every direction the colour wheel allows: a 2.55 x 4.24mm pear-cut orange sapphire, a 1.1mm round orange sapphire, two 2mm princess-cut orange sapphires, a 3.3 x 1.6mm baguette orange sapphire, a 2.77mm round pink sapphire, a 1.85mm round pink sapphire, and a 2.55mm round pink-peach sapphire. No two stones repeat the same shape or saturation. The piece feels less like a designed sapphire gold bangle than something gathered slowly over a long summer.
The body of the gold sapphire bangle is matte cast gold, hand-carved across its 7.8mm width, with a 55.8mm internal diameter that sits comfortably at the wrist.
Handcrafted in our Collingwood Melbourne studio from 100% recycled gold and ethically sourced stones.
